Meet Haley

Welcome! I feel honored that you want to learn more about me! I have the typical story of always loving photography and growing up with a camera in my hands from a young age but I feel that is relatively predictable and you could have guessed that. Instead of having you read a long paragraph about me, I much prefer a list of some facts!

•  I am a born and raised Mainer and grew up in the “Star City” of Aroostook County, also known as Presque Isle. The small town roots are definitely still visible in my life and I am so thankful to have grown up in a place with dirt roads and open fields.
• My high school sweetheart, Matt, and I are obsessed with our two dogs, Lexi and Annie, and include them on the majority of our adventures together. We also have a pretty awesome kitty, Ariel.  She’s like having a small third dog thanks to her Maine Coon characteristics.
• I was a former Photo Editor for a weekly newspaper which influenced a photojournalistic and candid aspect into my wedding photography.
• I absolutely love TGIT on ABC… I watch Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away With Murder with a glass of wine in hand. I am also known to have weekly viewing parties for the Bachelor and Bachelorette episodes.

•  Photography hasn’t always been my passion but has been my creative outlet for many years. Education has always been important to me. I attended the University of Maine for my undergrad degree and continued onto MCPHS University for my master’s degree.
• I am obsessed with the elegant and glamourous styles of the 1920’s and naturally love the Great Gatsby.
• Most days I can be seen in my L.L. Bean boots and yoga pants with a coffee in hand working hard in my office or snuggled up on the couch with Matt and our dogs watching our favorite tv shows.
• I travel and explore as often as possible. I am up for spontaneous road trips, weekend getaways, and adventuring with Matt to new places we have never been to.
